Yes, in our software, LMB and RMB can be re-programmed. However, please note that since these functions are essential for using a computer,Since left and right click are existential functions of a mouse, the functions must always be assigned. To reassign or re-program them, the LMB and RMB functionality will need to be reassigned to other buttons beforehand.

A damp towel can be used to clean the mouse. Be sure to not use soap or other detergents as these can damage the paint or rubberized coating. When using a damp towel, make sure it isn’t too wet, as to avoid damaging the electronic components inside the mouse.

In this case, it is possible that mouse acceleration has been enabled within the software or within Windows. To enable it, simply open your software and look for the “Mouse Acceleration” feature, or type in “Mouse Settings” in the Windows Start Menu, and then click on “Additional Mouse Option”, and then select “Pointer Options”. Within this sub-menu, make sure there is no check mark next to ‘Enhance Pointer Precision”.

Also known as “Lift-Off Distance”, refers to the distance at which the sensor on your gaming mouse stops tracking mouse movements. This is important during gaming, as you will need to frequently pick up your mouse to reposition it on the mouse pad. With a high LOD, the sensor will keep tracking while you’re repositioning, which will cause your tracking to be inaccurate.

To change the LOD on your Helios Go XD5, make sure to download the software, and adjust the millimeter amount in the section for LOD within.

Yes, you may use aftermarket mouse skates or mouse feet for Helios Go XD5. Helios Go XD5 uses the standard IE3.0 mouse skate shape, and is compatible with brands such as Tiger Arc.

The included mouse skates are made of pure PTFE, and will need to be “broken in” for users to experience the full performance. Typically, after a few gaming sessions, the skates will be a little more slippery than out of the box. This is normal and is the intended design of the mouse skate to ensure it can be properly transported without falling off of the mouse.

Fantech Helios XD5 is an ergonomic shape, based off of our interpretation of the IE3.0 (Intellimouse), while being scaled down to meet the demands of the industry for weight, and grip styles. Helios Go XD5 supports large hands (fingertip grip), and small to medium hands (all grips).

To pair the Helios Go XD5 wirelessly to your PC, simply plug the USB dongle into a USB port on your computer, and then use the switch on the bottom of the mouse to switch it into wireless mode. After doing so, you may need to wait a little for the drivers to be installed by Windows.

We recommend that you only charge Helios Go XD5 with the supplied USB cable, and by plugging it into charge into your PC. Although it is possible, we recommend never using a phone charger or USB wall charger to charge your mouse. In some cases, high voltages and amperage from these wall chargers may damage your gaming mouse. Such damages are not covered by warranty, which is why we explicitly suggest charging the mouse with the supplied cable and by directly connecting it to your PC.

The Helios Go XD5 is not a Bluetooth mouse, and therefore requires the USB 2.4ghz dongle to connect to the computer for wireless connectivity. If you wish to use the mouse in wired mode, please use the supplied USB cable to connect it.

Dual mode refers to the mouse being able to be connected wirelessly as well as through the supplied USB cable. This is the technical term for the fact that the mouse can be used while it is charging, as well as wirelessly when not charging. Another name for this is “Play and Charge”.
